I’m Karen Willis, a Registered Nurse and Health and Wellness Coach with over 30 years of experience. For the past 15 years, I’ve focused on helping women like you use science-backed tools — including stress management, disease prevention, sleep hygiene, nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, and meditation — to address the changes in your body prompted by perimenopause and menopause.

I’m a Registered Nurse and Nationally Certified Health and Wellness Coach with over 30 years of experience. I love working with people from all backgrounds, and I’m particularly excited to help women feel their best in these glorious (sometimes exhausting) midlife moments. Transition Wellness is my invitation to you to join me on this journey to find balance in perimenopause and menopause.
Perhaps like you, I’ve faced some significant health challenges over the years, each one shaping my belief that our everyday choices are the key ingredients to overall health and well-being. From navigating an infertility journey to navigating breast cancer, I’ve had many opportunities to slow down and take a good, hard look at my daily rhythms and habits. I’ve learned that when I put energy into eating better, getting enough sleep, and managing my stress through a mindfulness and meditation practice, I’m set up for more than survival; I’m primed to thrive. Its a daily practice that I am constantly working on.
Approaching each day as though it’s a gift with its own opportunity to choose what’s best for my body has been essential to thriving in this midlife chapter. How can we find peace when our bodies are in a state of imbalance? I’ve spent the last decade researching this question and integrating practical, science-backed tools to help me find a state of peace and balance.
The sustainable shifts I’ve made in my daily routines have changed my life and inspired me to pursue a career in health and wellness coaching. When I look back on my experiences, I’m so grateful for the lessons I’ve learned and the perspective God’s given me to show up better, more in-tune, and ready to partner with you on your journey.
